Direct Sound, LLC Headphone Warranty


All Direct Sound headphones receive our STANDARD ONE-YEAR WARRANTY.   Direct Sound products are renowned for their reliability and easy repairability.  Direct Sound also provides outstanding and unique customer service and support. This is why we can also offer a THREE-YEAR WARRANTY for registered headphone products (except the EXTW37 Wireless Headphones).  Activate your THREE-YEAR WARRANTY here.


Direct Sound, LLC  STANDARD WARRANTY


Direct Sound, LLC, warrants your product against defects in materials and workmanship when purchased directly from Direct sound or a Direct Sound authorized reseller. This warranty is extended only to the original end-use purchaser and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase for a period of one year (1). In the case of a covered warranty defect, Direct Sound will at its option: 1) repair the product using new parts; 2) replace the product with an equivalent new product; 3) provide a partial or full refund of the original purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.

The warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper use or maintenance, normal wear, and tear, accidents, or external causes. Unauthorized repairs, modification, or customization of your product voids this warranty. 

For warranty service on covered defects during the warranty period, contact your authorized Direct Sound reseller, or through email contact Direct Sound directly at customersupport@extremeheadphones.com.  Before providing warranty service, Direct Sound may require you to provide proof of purchase details, including but not limited to a receipt or sales invoice. 

This warranty gives you specific rights that are in addition to the other rights you may have under applicable law including your rights against the person who sold the Direct Sound product to you to the extent permitted by law, however, this warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Direct Sound. Direct sound disclaims all other warranties whether express or implied (including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement ), and Direct Sounds liability shall be limited to the original purchase price. 

Your authorized Reseller or Direct Sound Customer Support will provide you with instructions on how to resolve your issue. The Direct Sound headphones are designed for ease of repair. Once it is determined that your headphone is under warranty;  It may be possible for Direct Sound to provide you with replacement parts. If the headphones must be returned to the Direct Sound Service Center, you will be responsible for shipping costs. 

If your headphone is out of warranty or the warranty has been voided for some reason, Direct Sound or Authorized Reseller will inform you of the cost to repair or replace.

All Direct Sound headphones are covered by our Standard  One-Year Warranty.  However, we will upgrade this to an extended  THREE-YEAR WARRANTY when you register your new headphone with us within 30 days of purchase. There is no additional charge to register your headphone.


Direct Sound, LLC Extended THREE- YEAR WARRANTY


The three-year warranty covers the first owner of the headphone (when purchased from an authorized Direct Sound reseller against any problems caused by defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is extended only to the original end-use purchaser and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee. There is no charge to register for the Direct Sound extended  3-year warranty. You will be asked to provide the following information:
1.    Your name
2.    Your phone number (optional)
3.    Town/city and country where you live
4.    Headphone model
5.    Date purchased
6.    Where purchased (authorized Direct Sound reseller)
7.    Copy of purchase receipt

Your authorized reseller or Direct Sound Customer Support will provide you with instructions on how to resolve your issue. The Direct Sound headphones are designed for ease of repair.
